SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Issued By: Denken Technologies (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”)
1. Objective
This Social Media Policy (“Policy”) is designed to establish clear and professional guidelines for the responsible use of social media by employees,
contractors, vendors, consultants, and any other authorised representatives of Denken Technologies.
The purpose is to protect the Company’s reputation, intellectual property, confidential information, and compliance with applicable laws,
while encouraging productive engagement on digital platforms.
Whether engaging on social media in an official capacity or in a personal context, all representatives are expected to uphold the values, standards,
and ethics of Denken Technologies.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to all full-time, part-time, contractual employees, interns, consultants, and vendors who represent Denken Technologies or who
use personal social media in a way that may identify them with or impact the Company.
It applies to both work-related and personal usage of social media during or outside working hours, especially when using company devices or infrastructure.
3. Social Media Platforms Covered
This Policy applies to, but is not limited to, the following platforms:
- Social networks: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter)
- Messaging platforms: WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal
- Multimedia sharing sites: YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok
- Blogging and microblogging: Medium, Reddit, Quora
- Business review and networking sites: Google Reviews, Glassdoor, LinkedIn
- Rich Communication Services (RCS) platforms used by the Company
4. Guidelines for Usage
4.1 Authorised Business Use
- Only post content that is accurate, clear, and aligned with Company messaging.
- Seek prior approval from the Marketing or Communications Lead before publishing announcements, promotional content, or event-related materials.
- Avoid disclosing confidential project details, client names (unless approved), or proprietary methods.
- Ensure proper branding when using the Company name, logo, or trademarked content.
4.2 Personal Use
- Employees may mention their employment with Denken Technologies, provided they clearly state that views expressed are personal.
- Reposting official content is encouraged, provided it is not modified or taken out of context.
- Disclosure of confidential Company information or discussions, internal memos, or intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
- Avoid commenting negatively on Company policies, clients, or colleagues.
4.3 Confidentiality & Data Protection
- Do not post, share, or store non-public business strategies, project details, or code repositories.
- Do not share client or partner names or data without consent.
- Do not distribute internal communications or unapproved promotional materials.
- Avoid photos, videos, or screenshots of confidential workspaces, devices, or meetings.
4.4 Legal & Ethical Behaviour
- All posts must comply with data protection regulations and copyright laws.
- Adhere to anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and professional conduct policies.
- Respect platform-specific terms of service.
- Avoid defamation, hate speech, or politically inflammatory content.
4.5 Tone and Professionalism
- Maintain respectful, non-confrontational communication.
- Avoid political, religious, or controversial debates in a manner that associates your views with the Company.
- Do not use Denkentech resources (devices, emails) for personal social media unless expressly permitted.
5. Content Approval & Monitoring
- Any social media content (images, videos, written posts) created using company infrastructure or brand assets must be approved by the Marketing Department at least 48 hours prior to posting.
- Denken Technologies reserves the right to monitor usage of official accounts and social media activities conducted via its networks or systems.
- The Company may take down any content that violates this policy or misrepresents its interests.
6. Security Awareness
- Avoid clicking on suspicious links or opening attachments from unknown sources on social platforms.
- Report phishing attempts or any suspicious behaviour immediately to the IT department.
- Do not reuse company passwords for personal social media accounts.
7. Reporting & Consequences

7.2 Disciplinary Action
Violation of this Policy may result in:
- A formal warning or temporary suspension of social media privileges.
- Termination of employment or contracts.
- Legal consequences if the violation involves defamation, data theft, or breach of intellectual property laws.
8. Amendments
Denken Technologies reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time, without prior notice.
It is the responsibility of all representatives to remain informed of the most current version.
